Acquastop, thanks to its Indian distributor Frontier Polymers installed flood protection measures on the Delhi metro in India to make the Kashmere Gate metro station safer.
At the start of this year several stations on the Chennai metro were made safer with complex work required due to the size of the openings to be protected and the position of the bulkheads, located on top of the access ramps to the gates.
This project in Delhi is also the result of extensive preparation work, technical analysis and planning, as always happens for public procurement work in India where institutions are always very scrupulous.
Flood barriers from the Extesa Range were also chosen for the Kashmere Gate station given the adjustable width which allows for installation flexibility. The considerable widths of the accesses to be protected were covered by joining several barriers together using special removable stanchions.
